Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before show day.
Start here for practical information about sound engineering, lighting, planning, equipment, site visits, soundcheck, coordination, and booking.
01What types of events do you support?
We support concerts, cultural programs, weddings, private celebrations, community productions, and other events that need dependable live sound. The system and staffing are scaled to the venue, performers, schedule, and audience.
02What information do you need to prepare a quote?
The most useful details are the event date, venue, audience size, performance schedule, number of performers, input list, monitor requirements, and any equipment already available at the venue. Photos or a stage layout are also helpful.
03How early should I book?
Earlier is always better, especially for weekends and larger productions. Contact us as soon as the venue and date are known. Short-notice requests may still be possible depending on equipment and crew availability.
04Does the service include equipment setup and teardown?
Yes, the event plan can include delivery, system setup, cabling, testing, soundcheck, live operation, and teardown. The exact scope is listed clearly in the quote so you know what is included before confirming.
05Do you provide front-of-house and monitor mixing?
Yes. Front-of-house mixing shapes what the audience hears, while monitor mixing gives performers the vocals and instruments they need on stage. Monitor counts and individual mix requirements should be discussed during planning.
06Can you provide wireless vocal microphones?
Wireless vocal systems can be included when requested. We plan receiver placement, frequency coordination, battery preparation, and a wired backup strategy according to the event environment.
07Is a soundcheck necessary?
A proper soundcheck is strongly recommended. It confirms every input and output, establishes gain structure, balances monitors, identifies feedback risks, and gives performers time to request adjustments before the audience arrives.
08Can you be hired as a sound engineer if the venue already has an audio system?
Yes. Sound-engineering-only services are available, provided the venue’s system is suitable for your event.
09Do you provide stage and event lighting systems?
Yes. Stage and event lighting can be provided based on the venue, event size, and desired atmosphere.
10Can you operate equipment supplied by the venue or another rental company?
Yes. We can operate third-party equipment after reviewing the system specifications and setup requirements.
11Do you offer a site visit before the event?
Yes. A site visit can be arranged to assess the venue, power supply, equipment placement, and technical requirements.
12Can you provide lighting and audio as a combined package?
Yes. Combined sound and lighting packages are available and can be customized for your event.
13Do you supply microphone stands, instrument cables, DI boxes, and other accessories?
Yes. Essential audio accessories will be included according to the performers’ technical requirements.
14Can you support bands with multiple performers and instruments?
Yes. We can support bands and ensembles of different sizes with appropriate microphones, inputs, monitoring, and mixing.
15Can you connect a DJ, laptop, phone, or other playback device to the system?
Yes. Most common playback devices and DJ equipment can be connected to the audio system.
16Do you provide backup equipment in case of a technical issue?
Where practical, essential backup equipment and spare cables are carried to help minimize interruptions.
17Can you coordinate directly with the venue, performers, or event planner?
Yes. We can coordinate with all relevant parties to ensure the technical setup and event schedule run smoothly.
18Are travel, delivery, setup, and staffing costs included in the quote?
The quote will clearly show what is included, along with any applicable travel, delivery, setup, or staffing charges.
19Can the lighting system be customized to match the event theme or brand colors?
Yes. Lighting colors and effects can be customized to complement your event theme, mood, or branding.
20Can additional microphones, speakers, or lighting fixtures be added on the event day?
Additional equipment may be added subject to availability, setup time, venue limitations, and additional charges.
21Can the system be used outdoors?
Outdoor events are possible when the venue provides safe weather protection, stable placement, and appropriate electrical power. Rain, wind, temperature, audience area, and local noise limits all affect the final system plan.
22What electrical power does the audio system need?
Power requirements depend on the loudspeaker, subwoofer, monitor, backline, and lighting load. Before the event, we review available circuits and distribution points. Audio equipment should use properly grounded power and should not share overloaded circuits with high-draw production equipment.
23Can you record the live performance?
Multitrack or stereo recording can be discussed as an additional service. Recording requirements, channel count, storage, file delivery, and artist permission must be agreed before the event.
24What happens if the schedule changes or the event runs longer?
Please communicate schedule changes as early as possible. Additional setup time, waiting time, or overtime can affect staffing and cost. The quote will define the planned service window and any event-specific terms.
25How do I reserve a date?
Start with a quote request. After the event scope, availability, price, and service terms are confirmed, the booking process and any required deposit will be documented before the date is reserved.
